Bonzai of the day / Juniper Bonsai tips!!

Oh hey there!

Well due to popular demand, I've compiled some of what I think are the best tips for caring for Juniper Bonsai
(Which is what I have). My most recent bonsai project has been a Juniper because they are great indoor or outdoor bonsais and quite frankly I think they look the coolest. Apparently they're kinda hard to take care of too, so if you're interested in starting a bonsai project or just looking for some extra tips, here you go!

..but first, check out this super rad juniper!

Tips:

- Never expose to freezing temperatures. Keep in a basement or garage during the winter season if the elements are too harsh and try to keep its temperature around a constant 40* F.
-Juniper thrive with plenty of fresh air and sunlight, so keep it outside or in a well ventilated sunny area. I personally have it in a dorm room and this will be its first year here so we'll see how it goes.
-The saying, "if some is good, more is better" cannot be applied in reference to watering your bonsai. Beginners have the tendency to over-water their bonsai plants. Over-watering causes Bonsai roots to rot. You should water your bonsai when the soil is nearly dry--but not completely dried out.
-Feed your bonsai with organic fertilizer every 2 weeks in the growing season and every 3 to 4 in the off season.
-enjoi!

Take care guys! Thanks for all the continued support!! : D
